Blue sage (salvia azurea) is a native salvia and an awesome addition to the sunny, prairie butterfly/ pollinator garden. Gets 4-5ft with multiple stems and produces beautiful light blue flowers in mid to late summer. The stems can fall over so having some support plants nearby can help them stay upright.
As with all of our plants, they are grown in biodegradable fabric pots. The pots can be removed or left on for planting.
We keep all of our plants where they can follow their natural cycles. Here in MI, these plants are dormant and are just stems with roots. However, once received, plant them and let them finish their winter cycle and they will come up in the spring,
