Swamp/ rose milkweed seeds (asclepias incarnata) Host for monarch butterfly and really shines as a monarch host in mid summer. Blooms in mid summer and is wonderfully scented. Native perennial. In the wild grows in sunny moist areas, but can be planted in any medium to moist sunny site. A good plant for the garden as it is not aggressive.Flowers are great nectar source for many butterflies. For best germination seeds should be planted in fall or placed in a bag of moist substrate (sand, paper towel, coir) for 30+ days prior to planting.
