Description
Slender Mountain Mint starter plant Pycnanthemum tenuifolium. Narrow needle like leaves on this 2-4 ft colony forming plant. White flowers in mid to late summer that pollinators and butterflies love. Likes a sunny to partially sunny medium soil location.
These have gone dormant for the year, but still have excellent root growth and can be planted anytime the ground isn’t frozen. Just treat as is though it were still growing and water through any prolonged dry spells. This will usually retain low foliage throughout the winter. You will want to lightly cover it with loose leaf litter or pine needles to protect this growth through any hard freezes
All of our plants are grown in biodegradable fabric pots. The containers are around 4″x4 1/2″ Grown in biodegradable fabric pot that can be planted with the plant or removed.
