Most butterflies chrysalis change the day before hatching (eclose) where you can actually see the butterfly inside. Few are as noticeable as the monarch butterfly, where the chrysalis goes from its beautiful green color to black with the orange wings visible inside. We tried to mimic this look in this pendant. The pendants are made out of resin and are actual size. Makes for a unique conversation/ educational piece. Also makes a great gift for the butterfly lover.
